Nifty Trend for Today- 26-july-2012

Nifty: The Nifty is likely to open flat on the back of flattish Asian cues. It is likely
to trade in the range of 5080-5160. The trading strategy would be to create long
positions if the Nifty takes support at around 5090 levels for targets of 5125 and
5145. On the other hand, one can also create short positions if it resists at
 around 5160 levels.

Bank Nifty: The Bank Nifty is likely to trade in the range of 10200-10550.

Nifty breaking below 5150 is worrying

Nifty has a fair chance of holding 5,150 only if Bank Nifty holds 10,350.

Nifty breaking below the crucial level of 5,150 is a matter of concern because the next support for Nifty is at 5,050.According to rollover data, the entire strength of Nifty is lying on Bank Nifty currently. T

he Bank Nifty can easily outperform Nifty from here on.Nifty has a fair chance of holding 5,150 only if Bank Nifty holds 10,350." I would prefer going long on bank Nifty and shorting Nifty from the current levels.Meanwhile, from the auto pack, I expects Bajaj Auto to outperform peers. "Around Rs 1,575-1,580 one should accumulate Bajaj Auto for a minimum trading target of Rs 1,625 on the upside and keep a strict stop loss of Rs 1,550.
